Say this has happened to you , please.  I was sleeping snug as a bug under my huge comforter and a mass of pillows this chilly Sunday morning when I was awakened by a sensation. It was a full bag. ugh! Didn't want to get up, so I just let some air out and went back to sleep. That's when the blowout happened. It was my own lazy fault!!  When will I learn that I can't just put off taking care of the bag? blush

lol no that hasn't happened to me not exaclty. I was in the computer room one night and i didnt' want to mess with going to the bathroom andemptying and all, so i went out into the hall, i was home alone adn didnt' want to smell it where i was, i know yuck. And opened the top to let some air out, but i let lots of other stuff out too! ICK! so i ended up having to go clean up andchange stuff, which took me like 15 minutes, when i could have taken two minutes. Just plain laziness.

i luckily haven't had a blowout yet, but i have awoken to find my bag full a few times, like it was hard-to-the-touch kind of full.  man do i ever run to the bathroom quick when that happens lol

One morning when I had my bag it was puffy from air. I was nice and comfy in bed and didn't want to get up quite yet. Well I must have dozed and when I woke up I rolled over and the clip blew of the bag. I had poop all over my PJs and my bed. Plus the lovely smell.

it's those darn two piece systems...it brings out the laziness in us!!!  It only happened once and now I get up yeah

haha Bratcat thats funny! Luckily I havent had any leaks or anything like that happen to me but mines still new ..knock on wood =)

Yep, been there, done that! Laziness for sure. Isn't it amazing how lazy we get. Remember when, pre-ostomy, if you got an urge you knew that you HAD to run to the potty??? Now that we have ostomies, we put it off and put it off. Now, most of us are guilty of that, right?!!!

this thread saved me this morning! i was lying in the bed and i didn't want to get up, and then i thought oh lord i don't wanna end up having to post this in the thread! so i got up!

The same thing happened to me yesterday morning. I got up and went to the bathroom and only let some air out. I ended up with a leak that morning. If I had only emptied the pouch since I was in the bathroom already anyway.....Now, that's being lazy with consequences!

Laziness prevails once again!!!   I think it is because we all have spent soooo much time in the bathroom during our lives that we just want to get in and get out now!!  lol
