His name is Dr. Merril Dayton he used to be here in Utah and he did all my abdominal surgeries. He is a great doctor. He is at Buffalo General Hospital I think its in NY but I don't know.
You can even google Dr Merril Dayton and get the address and phone number

I am lucky have to have good surgeon also.
Dr David Dehaas in Eugene Oregon.

Dr Victor Fazio at the Cleveland Clinic for me, many years ago, but he is still there.

Peggy, I was going to have my surgery done at the Cleveland Clinic with Dr. Fazio but he has cancer! so my doctor didnt send me there. I was so mad when he wouldnt send me there because Ive heard SO many amazing things about him. But when one door closes, another opens eh? I was so blessed with the surgeon I have. Dr. Torres at the Women and Childrens Hopsital in Charleton. Shes amazing!

Dr. Fazio has cancer!! I had no idea. When did you find that out? What a shock -- he was my saving grace many years ago - he gave me life. What horrible news.

I was searching the web and came across this webcast of Dr. Fazio talking about Crohn's disease, from 2005.

I had an excellent surgeon in Rochester, NY...Dr. Vincent Chang...he's a general surgeon but I will never go to anyone else from now on...hopefully I won't have to as I don't have too many things left to remove...he was voted one of the nation's top surgeons a couple of years ago.

OMG, Judy, i had NO idea just how much you've already been through. one has to be a very strong person to go through all of this!!

I too have a wonderful surgeon. Her name is Dr. Shawna Williams and she is at Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho. I trust her implicitly!

Thanks Hodaya, I know I've been through a lot but somehow through faith, my husband, daughters, some great friends, and my extreme persistence I knew I would FINALLY be better one day and now I am.  Life is so good ,except for my daughter moving 12/14 hours away on Sunday, cry .  But I am a survivor and I can get through just about anything.  This site has been such a blessing for me also, I have found such strength in talking  with all of you and being able to share my concerns.  THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
