I was wondering if anyone knows about
any new medicine, or any new treatments, or anything new to help with pain?

What kind of pain? Where and how bad on a scale of 1-10, 10 being worst?
(Gosh, I sound like a doctor's office now!)

Do you think that the pain is related to the ileostomy? It could be scar tissue (adhesions) too. They can be REALLY painful. Is this something that just came on all of a sudden? Finally, have you spoken to your GI about
it?

yes my GI knows. I have had pain for a long time, in fact there is a pain clinic I went to, but after a while they ran out of things to try. Bummer huh?

Hi. I have had the same problems with pain. I vomit from Opiates. Maybe try Tramadol or get this Fentanal patches or Marinal (which is a drivitive of Marijauna) They give this to cancer patients...Might help..Docs are reluctant to prescribe...Be firm about
the pain and the need for something. They finally told me to deal with it and take Ibuprofin...I found another doctor. In Colorado we have Medical Marijauna and can get approved for this. Just some thoughts.
