Saw my surgeon today and he is booking me for a ct scan with contrast to make sure nothing is leaking and there are no abcesses etc...then back to see him again to discuss a time for my ileostomy reversal!!! I had posted earlier about
a swelling above stoma site...turns out that it IS a hernia like someone here on the Forum suggested. He will repair that at the same time. I am looking forward to being "pouchless", but am nervous at the same time. I have been feeling so good since having the ileostomy, that I'm afraid I won't do so well when it's all reversed!!! I am really scared about
it! I have been reading all I can here on the Forum and on another as well to get all the info I can. Not looking forward to another surgery so soon, but it will sure be nice to not have to worry about
leaks, etc....
