Takedown update

I had my takedown on June 3rd at 7:30am. The surgery lasted about 1 hour and I was up in my room at around 11 am with my family. I woke up feeling like someone stabbed me in my belly and the nurses immediately started the morphine clicker ... life got a lot better after that!

I have a hole in my belly which is closing up really nice. There is a lot of pain there but nothing compared to the first surgery.

I didn't go to the bathroom much the first day of the surgery. Maybe a couple of times but only drops of blood came out.

The second day .. that's when things started moving. I had soiled myself that night and started having liquid bowel movements. Major butt burn! The creams help a lot! That's one thing that's VERY important ... the creams! Calmoseptine!

I was discharged and now am at home ... pain is there ... but manageable. I go to the bathroom every couple of hours but I can control it ... it's not like I have to B line it otherwise I'm in trouble. This is a major PLUS in my books.

Overall .. I'm very happy with my outcome so far. I could not have asked for anything more than this.
