confessions

I was reading another post, and someone was talking about all the embarrasing (i STILL can't spell embarrasing-that's how it should be spelled!)
places they had to poo when they had emergency poos with u/c or crohns. So, I thought we could come clean about those places.....and have a little laugh.

One day, at work, I was cleaning cages and had to go v. badly-you know, the can't hold it at all kind of badly. The bathroom was right around the corner from the room I was in, but I just couldn't make it. So rather than poop my pants, I hung my butt over the side of the doggy bathtub (for grooming dogs) and let it go. Then, all I had to wipe with, was paper towels. Luckily, no one came in there. WHEW! and I could just blame the smell of the paper towels in the trash on some doggy mess.

I've never told ANY ONE about that. Too embarrasing. I'm actually having second thoughts about posting it......but it's kind of funny....so

I was always the one that refused to use the outhouse on those long trips, which when I developed UC was very traumatizing and something I had to get over. One of the benefits of a bag now though is on our last trip I was totally comfortable using the outhouse, just lean over a little, dont look and and no sitting. It was excellent.
