Surgery Postponed

Hey guys,

So, I had my gastrograpfin enema... that was not fun. They found a leak. My doc said it is just a pin hole but I have to wait another month. Boooo. I guess it is better to be safe than sorry.

I am trying to work on thickening my stool since I won't have a bag to catch it anymore once the take down surgery is done. Any suggestions? I start almost every day with creamy peanut butter and banana sandwich and that helps. But I was wondering if that fiber stuff for water helps?

Hi liza,not sure what op you had which gave you a stoma but i have half a colon left so have D permenant When i get the reversal done in Nov i am going back on to Lomotil as that really worked for me i only took 2 tabs in the morning and didn't need to go to the loo till late afternoon, food wise try a handful of jelly babies or marshmellows hope this helps i'm sure the others will have some more suggestions you could try.
