Started epogen injections today 8 DAYS TILL SURGERY!

So my big box came fedexed from florida today, just in time because today is ten days before my surgery, the day I am supposed to start... Anyways I used the Walmart specialty pharmacy out of Florida, and they are great! The customer service reps are very knowlegable and caring. And it came in a styrofoam ice chest and they had ice packs keeping it cold and alcahol swabs, syringes, bandaides, and even a sharps biohazard container, pretty cool. I had my medical assistant sister-n-law give me my first inj, I am gonna try I myself tomorrow.
Ph and chasblah, we find out the sex of the baby next Wednesday, the 9th! I'm glad u are excited too!! F it's a boy, he will be Malachi Xavier, and a girl will be Lydia Elizabeth :)

11 more days to go to until you are BETTER!!! YAY!!!

And how exciting is it to find out abotu the baby soon, those are great names!

Maybe I missed something, but why are you taking epogen shots? Do you also have crf?

Dr is having me take it to stimulate red blood cells, since I don't accept blood transfusions., it's not that bad now, I'm pretty used to injecting myself :)
