Hi everyone,
I had my reversal 7 weeks ago after 20 months of the bag, this was after diverticulitis, soon after the operation I blew up like a balloon. It was discovered I had a stricture which was dilated and soon afterwards I started to pass gas etc. After I got home I started to get pain in my left side in the area of my colon, I then discovered that the only way I could pass wind was either to lie on my side or assume a yoga position on the floor and the wind was on an "industrial scale". My bms were quite frequent but small amounts of diahroea. I went back to see my surgeon last week who ordered another gastrografin enema. The results were that I had a significant narrowing, I am now awaiting another dilation probably next week.
I wondered if anyone has had similar problems because I am worried that even after the dilation I will no be able to pass wind in the normal way without resorting to having to force it out.
One other thing I seem to have no energy or enthusiasm.
Thanks for listening and keep well everybody.
