I wish I could sit at my computer long enough to read all of your posts in detail, but my butt is sore! I went to the gym this morning and the instructor was ill. So, I offered to teach. My legs, lungs, and heart felt great! However, sitting on the bike and riding hard was a bit painful (not in a bad way, just sore).
I just wanted to check in..
Lizzy, if you think you might have H1N1, you may need to cancel your appt so you do not spread the virus. Did you eat ice cream today. Every small bite adds up to be big calories!!
Jen, where are you? Are you eattting? Did you eat my virtual McDonald's burger? I can send you a Whopper next time :o)
Rosemary, do you have to eat baby food? God bless you Darlin, my heart goes out to you. I was on liquids for several years - popcycles and chick broth. That was before I had my first surgery in 2001. No one should have to live like that. I hope you ate this by choice and not because of your disease. Ps. I am glad your mom does not have alzheimers. This is a horrible disease. I have great fear about watching my MIL suffer as her alzheimers progresses and my responsibilty to care for her.
Pelz - your circumstances sound all too farmiliar. I begged for a bad b/c my small and large are paralyzed. I had an ileostomy for 2 years and still had to take Sorbitol (natural laxative) and I had to place an 18" cathater in my stoma and flush it with water every day to get my bowels to move. My system is so slow that stools would not move into my bag unless I put water in my stoma. I just had a reversal 7 weeks ago. I hope you are doing well with your surgery.
Hodaya - did you talk to your dr about depression meds?
Judy - I hear you...LOW RESIDUE DIET! THANK YOU FOR YELLING AT ME! :o)
Jeniese - I am glad your appt went so well. You are in GREAT hands. You are very fortunate to have such wonderful doctors and nurses watching out for you.
To everyone I missed....I hope you're doing well.
Ps. I am the typo queen! Just ignore my spell errors. I don't have time to proof read these days. I am off to take another hot bath to soak.
