When you are 'randomly' picked you just have to let them know you have medical supplies for your ostomy. I haven't ever been questioned about
any supplies or my medical condition so I don't know what they'd want from that stand point...but I would gladly show whoever wanted to look
Your supplies are separate from the 1Qt rule and like suebear said go to the tsa website to get a better idea. Just don't put them only in your checked in luggage or have some in both carry on and checked in. Always bring a little extra for those 'just in case' moments but most importantly....have FUN!
Oh, if you cut your wafers, you'll have to do that before you leave so you don't have to mess with scissors.
