hey hey :)

soo, this is kinda hard to talk about bc it just makes me sooo mad to the point that i cried today..but, i had reversal surgery April of 09..and this didnt start until a few months ago but sometimes when i wake up in the middle of the night to potty, my underwear will be wet from where stuff has come out when im asleep..it usually is just clear..no big deal..but last night i woke up to a huuuuge mess! all over my underwear, on my bed, my pillowtop, my sheets it looked like some 2 yr old pooped the bed..there was a LOT. and thats happened before but not to the point of where it went through my underwear. Im 18 not 88..this shouldnt happen to an 18 yr old haha but yeeah, so here i am at 4 am washing my blanket and sheets and clothes and showering..and even when i had my bag i didnt let it bring me down i was soo positive about it and i didnt cry until i was telling my mom this morning. I wasnt embarrassed i was mad. So im wondering if this is normal? pooping the bed at 18 lol ...VERY attractive has this happened to anyone else though?

Are you taking imodium?...could you take it at night?

at least its not every single night lol but i usually just wear a pad to bed when i eat kinda late..at first i thought it was because i was drinking a bottle of water before i layed down bc im always dehydrated and i thought maybe thats why it was happening but even when i didnt drink water it still happened..and the other night was the first time there was THAT much uggh it was awful..my PA wont be back until June 7th and shes really the only person i talk to about it besides my surgeon since she knows everything thats been going on. But should i just call and talk to someone else and have them let my surgeon know?

Do you take an immodium before bed? I have found that when I have leakage problems (haven't had a full-out loss since recovering from surgery *fingers crossed*) I find that it is related to having had or done something that led to an excessive amount of gas. If I take immodium multi-symptom (it has anti-gas meds in it) I don't have any problems. Have you changed your diet recently?

Bella~ I bet it's the eating/drinking so late...ask your PA about Imodium and if they recommend that you take it when you eat/drink so late. It sounds like figuring out your jpouch to go along with a young person's lifestyle:)
