by the way it's mot funny.  The other day my colostomy was very inactive nearly 24 hours and only two little marble sized lumps.  I went to bed with a slight stomach ache ad thought that there was no need tO change. about an hour later, I felt that I had to get up.  As I did so I heard a warning pop and looked down.  My bag had filled, yes filled and it had popped of the wafter.  I had stool all over my abdoman, my pajamas and the carpet and more wanting to join that that was alreaduy out.  I have never had such a large amount since my operation.  It only took about an hour to clean up.  I NEVER HAVE ACCIDENTS. RALPH

Oh, Ralph, that's not what you want to wake up to!!! Sounds like you handled it well, though!

But I can top that one! My husband and I went to the Comedy Club at the Borgata Casino a few weeks back. I checked my bag before the show and it hardly had anything in it, so I thought, ah, what the heck, how full could it get in an hour and a half. Well, I found out just how full it could get! I couldn't feel it but the bag popped open on the sides and poop came out all over the place. Thank GOD I had on black pants because after the show, I went to the Ladies Room and to my horror poop was all over my undies. UGH! I cleaned up the best I could, stuffed toilet paper inside what was left of my bag and waddled out. I told hubby we had to leave fast. Good thing our travel trailer was down the shore and it took only 15 min to get back...but oh it was awful! I learned to keep all my supplies with me and NOT in the car's glove compartment.
Good thing it didn't even smell because I had eaten a ton of wintergreen mints an hour or so before and that is what it smelled like...wintergreen mints..lololol.
