I can't believe it has been 9 years already. I still remember ascending the subway in the city and hearing a consistent and constant barrage of emergency vehicles speedily traveling downtown. It was then I had looked up and saw a giant gaping hole in the north tower. Like millions of others, I couldn't believe it. A few moments later I saw the second plane hit. Words can't describe it. It was the most horrific thing I have seen, the most horrific thing many people have seen. I can still feel the cool crisp air, the panic on the streets, and the screams of people all around. People that didn't believe in god, did that day. I knew 2 friends, and 2 fireman. My two friends made it out. That wasn't the worse part. Ascending that same subway exit was now littered with thousands of pamphelts, papers, and scraps of photos hoping and wishing someone would find their missing loved ones. Most would never have that comfort. I have been asked, like every year, to keep the memory and faith alive. God bless all of you if you have known or loved someone there that day. Budweiser had released a video during superbowl of that same year in 2001. It aired only once and I would like to share that with you. Tomorrow morning at 8:46 am and 9:03 am we will be honoring all of those that did not make it back home to their wifes, husbands, children, brothers, and sisters. Here is the video .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoxxix0QQdU
Stay well, guys
