i usually use paste instead of seals under my wafer. I tried the seals when I was a newbie, and didn't think they were terrific. But, I tried an old sample I have, and I do like them now. But, I don't remember the name of the ONE sample I used. It wasn't Eakin. What are the other brands?

Hollister makes an Adapt Ring which is similar to to the Eakin Seal. Also, Genairex makes a seal that is almost identical to the Eakin. I don't know of any others.

I have to agree with NASCAR. SinceI began using the Eakin seals I have reduced leakage and burning of the skin problems dramatically. Not only that but I can wear the same pouch for up to a week with no concerns now.

I have to agree with the use of the eakin seals.  I was told by my home health nurse that they were not as good as the paste.  I had so much trouble with leakage that I started reading on here about what others were using and so I tried the eakins seals on my own.  I have not had one leakage problem since.  Where as I was having leaks every day or two.

TRY HEATING THE WAFER WAX WITH A BLOW DRYER IT REALLY HELPED ME WITH LEAKS!!! SEEMS TO ADHERE TO SKIN REALLY GOOD WHEN WARMED!!

I use the combo pkg...little eakin and a little paste and the blow dryer is helpful also.
