You guys are cracking me up! tongue We should plan Ostotour 2011 and travel around the world for a couple of weeks! First stop New Orleans, then Kansas City, then let's stop in Hawaii on our way to Australia, then Israel, and we can wrap things up in Leah's backyard!

Would be so much fun if we could all get together, My backyard is the Pacific Ocean so come down under for the summer and we can have barbies by the beach :-)

Cece, love the Ostotour idea! and you know what, we should make it an Ostocruise! that should be awesome :) and we can also anchor at andorable's backyard :D

I'm loving the Ostocruise idea! We could cruise the Mediterranean, which is your backyard, and then head over to Australia to visit all of our Aussie friends -- Oi Oi Oi! Then cruise to New Orleans in the Gulf of Mexico, which is my backyard in Florida! smilewinkgrin

I am going on a cruise next year in November so can we plan and save for 2012? I don't think I could quite afford 2 in one year :-) , I would need to do a lot more hours at work than Im doing now lol, So if it can be arranged for 2012 count me in

actually a cruise would be perfect. This is something to keep in mind. The entire ship filled with IBD folks ... they won't be hanging barf bags on the banisters, there will be diapers! I can say that, because I used to wear them!

We don't need diapers anymore, we have our pouches :-) . If we have a big booking on a cruise ship they generally give some kind of discount too. The cruise I am taking next year is with about 40 friends and we were given a discount of 250 dollars as well as a nice cocktail party for just us. So should be awsome. We should look into our options for sure.

You guys always make me smile and the thought of a trip sounds wonderful. Now, if only, that money tree that my kids think grows in the back yard...if it would only flower again, all would be good!

Some want a cruise, some want to camp, some want a b'que, some want on solid ground....come to my house in northern Michigan. I live on a lake. We can b'que in the front yard by the lake on solid ground. After that we can cruise the lake on my pontoon. Some of you will need to have a tent, so you can camp. I have all the options! BUT BE SURE TO COME IN THE SUMMER. The pontoon doesn't work very well in the winter.

That's too soon for me, my mom surprised us with a cruise at Christmas so all the extra money is going to that.

oh sorry feb 2011!

but we are going on a cruise in jan, then disney in june, so we wont have money for a vacation next year and our NO trip will be free, my husband is all important, lol.

Thats why I think we should aim for 2012 next year is too close and not enough time to save for anyone. If u want all in one my place can also compete with yours Dan lol the pacific ocean is on my doorstep I am extremely close to Queensland Islands so we could bbq by the water on solid ground then swim, cruise, sleep, drink anything you want and being in Australia on the beautiful sunshine coast we are not limited to only summer months its pretty good here even in winter, well Im sure you guys would laugh at what we call cold.

i probably wouldnt laugh at what you call cold, im a southern girl, it gets below 70 and im in a hoodie and got the heat cranked up! 

But australia, even though i think it would be beautiful and i would love to go there, is a very long plane ride away, and i am skert of planes!  i'm trying to figure out how im going to get myself on the 2 hour flight to NO!

Know what u mean Allison the air fares for me to get over there would be about the same and its a lot of money, especially when you live on disability like I do and many of us do. I do work casually but thats not enough and would take me a while to save as I am saving for a cruise next year with my family and some other friends. Summer have a drink or 2 before you fly you will be fine lol, I was afraid of flying to but went to vietnam and thailand spent almost 12 hours on the plane and all was good. Looks like I might have to aim on getting over there at some stage but prob wont be for a while :-)

if i drink i will throw up! i always throw up when i drink. ANd plus, what if the plane crashes and i'm drunk then what will i do? I'm very difficult about this, lol.
