starting a new job tomorrow

after 3 mons outta work, i'm finally starting in a new place tomorrow. it's an engeneering of pipe systems office. and it's also close to my home.. just a 10 mins walk!! no more traveling 1 1/2 hrs to each direction every day nono   (3 hrs total of travel), so that's a major plus smurf  

so wish me luck :)

It takes me an hour to get to work for me. But thats cause I can only go 65 on the interstate and above that my car starts to shake :/

Now to get rid of my stupid Mazda tribute and to find a car that saves gas.

thanks so much ya'll :) i'm back from work now and it was good, but im exhausted.

Newshiny.. you poor thing.... that is no way to go. you def need a new car!! good luck with that ;)

Mk4 (1999 1/2 - 2004) VW Diesel (called a TDI) would be amazing. Diesel would give you 1200-1300 km's a tank, they are relatively cheap and reliable. Sorry I sound like a VW fanatic, but I deal with European cars every day and KNOW these car's are awesome.

Congrats! I just got a new job thanks to my ostomy as well. I have been there almost 2 months now and I AM HAVING A BLAST! I am so, so thankful for it, especially in this economy. I hope your new job turns out to be just as positive for you. :)

thanks so much everyone :) collicat, i feel your pain, have been doing that for 8+ yrs.. it's not easy.
