I drink G2 a lot of the time but I make it from the powder packets. I agree that the bottled stuff gets old fast and to me it tastes funny. I usually make my G2 weak so that it's more of a flavored water taste than the strong G2 flavor. I don't like the fruit punch flavor so I order cases of grape g2 powder. I also drink tea, water, alcoholic beverages (with no bubbles), orange juice (on occasion), McD's orange drink, hot chocolate (I'm not a coffee drinker and I limit myself to a max of one/day), pedialyte (on occasion), beef boullion (when I haven't been drinking enough and am getting dehydrated). As time goes on you will be able to figure out how things affect you and make your decisions accordingly.
IMO, you will be able to drink juices - but you have to look at the ingredients. I used to be a huge juicy juice fan until I figured out that it's primarily grape and apple juices (oops!). You may have to pay more for your juices to get pure ones or ones that don't contain those filler juices but you will be able to find yourself a good mix of drinks that work for you and give you the variety you're looking for while getting the extras that you need. I still have issues w/ fake sugars and HFCS so I try to avoid them in my beverage choices.
My selection of beverages got easier and more extensive as my body adjusted to my jpouch so I figured it was like the food rule, if you try it and it doesn't go well, wait a month and try it again, and wait a month and try it again... because as a general rule, you will be able to handle it sooner or later (or at least you'll learn the consequences and can prepare for them) as time goes on and your body adjusts and your meal options change.
