    just wanted to say hi!   been reading post for awhile now and thought to myself. why don't you join! so here I am.along with my stoma[ilio] gizmo.

this is my 3rd stoma,1st was in 2002 had blockage and stage 4 ovarion cancer.successful reversal.in 2008 had a v-fistula and cancer return,another stoma.unsuccessful reversal do to scare tissue ending up with ilio 1 yr ago.still battleing cancer. but hey I'm alive so thats what matters.lol. always try to think positve even tho sometimes it's hard. dr.says can still be reversed, but every time I have surgery there seems to be all kinds of complications ,so don't know if I want to chanch it.living with a stoma ain't all that bad once you get the right appliance. take care

I am so sorry for all you have been through. It's good you have such a good attitude. Yes, finding the right appliance is key.
