Phoenix Ostomy Belt

After my Perm Ileo surgery, my surgeon requested I wear an elastic surgical waistband during recovery to keep my guts in. I have been using 9" wide binders with a 3" hole cut for my ostomy. I have been wondering about the Phoenix system to do both.
Anyone have any advice? Good or bad?

Hi Dave,

while I cannot comment on whether the Phoenix Belt would help or not, I have a brand new unused Phoenix Ostomy Belt (Size M I believe). If this is your size and if you determine that this would help you, it would be my pleasure to send you my belt ASAP.

I have a Phoenix belt....the support well, is not that good but it is very comfortable i actually use a new hope under it then put the phoenix over it so my bag can be conceled. So in my opinion the New hope is a better product for hernia protection but the phoenix hides the bag real well...Hope this helps...Trixiemom
