Wow - lots of Indiana folks. I lived in Ft. Wayne for ten years in the 70's and 80's and went to IU, Bloomington. My daughter elddiReMsihT and I are in central New York state near Syracuse.

Wow some people close by! Disneynut-I live in Indianapolis.
We are neighbors! Do you have a good gi? I don't know if I will need one, but I have no desire to see my last gi again.

We are close. I have tried a couple of GI's. Dr. Orinion has been great to me. He is through St.Francis. I usually go through Community but I really like him! Who was your surgeon?

Janiepain, Dr. Matt Albert did my surgery. He's great! Works out of FL Hospital Altamonte, which is about
45 min from me, but worth the drive. What about
you?
PS if you're looking for a good real life ostomy support group, I go to a great one in Winter Park once a month.

Tickled---I don't know anything about
surgeons around here. When researching, I just kept coming back to the fact that Cleveland Clinic surgeons are some of the best in the world, so I decided no surgeon from Indiana would ever touch my colon. I was given a card by my ostomy nurse at St. Vincent's on 86th (St. V's doctors) so if I have any issues and can't get to Cleveland, I can call one of them.
What about
you?
