Question to everyone who had 3-Step Prolectomy and Pouch Procedure

Here's my second question of the day:

My colon was removed by laproscopy on April 5th. The plan is to have the second operation six months later, for forming the pouch. So while that could happen in October, I will probably wait until December for reasons purely related to my work.

 The first time I had a long talk with my surgeon, he told me six months between the first and second operation, and then the third operation could happen as early as 4 weeks after that. Based on all the reading I've been doing, it sounds a bit early.

Does it sound possible that the third step could be taken so early as 4 weeks after the second step, or do most people have to wait at least three months?

BTW, my surgeon is great. The main inscision is only 6 centimeters long, and just 7-8 weeks after surgery, it's thread-thin.

My surgeon put six months between first and second OP's, so I'm wondering why he though 4 weeks between 2nd and 3rd. I can't imaigne he was just saying that to keep me calm, because at the time I was upset about it being 3 operations when I expected only 2, and even the 2 operations seemed like dramatic torture.
And I know what you mean about getting back to yourself. I'm two months past the first surgery, am starting a new job tomorrow, and only in the last couple of days did I start to feel like myself again.

I am using one-a-day bags, maybe that would be an alternative for you because they only have to hold out 24 hours.
