Quick help

K did wafer/pouch change I am kind of worried I put tiny bit too small of a wafer on it is pre cut convex wafer by convatec will it choke my stoma if a little too small or will the wafer soften up around it and will it be ok? How would I know if it was hurting my stoma? Hate being a newbie!!!!!! :-/

I use the moldable wafers by convatec as well..... love them!
I don't leak, don't need to cut them, and my skin seems to get less irritated by them as well.

I don't think you can really hurt your stoma, but I agree, if you think it is too small -- redo and start over!.

With the moldable wafers, they actually 'turtleneck' your stoma and get smaller.......... seems to work better for me. I had a heck of a time leaking at the beginning. So frustrating. After a month, I finally figured what worked for me --- belts are great too! I have to wear mine all the time because I have high output :-(

Thanks ladies for the input ;-) what I was thinking is that I was not leaving enough room for it to do it's thing u know peristalsis for it to push everything out,
I just ended up redoing it after all :-/ I just wanted to avoid taking another wafer off cause I just changed on thurs do to another mishap on my part! Wish all the learning didn't take so long :-(
