Hi All,
I had a surgery just 2 weeks ago and I was wondering
what Dietary requirements I would need,
I go to the toilet like 7-11 times a day and
I want know how to reduce the times, I go.
Feel free to answer my Question.
Thanks Best Regards.

Hi,
I stil have my ileostomy and won't have a j-pouch until winter. But what I know helps is:
1. Taking pectin -ask doctor
2. eating bananas
3. eating poatoe chips (really firms up stool)
4. eating oatmeal, potatoes
pasta might help.
These are food that will firm up the stool, but I do not know if it will decrease the amount of times you have to go to the toilet.
The number will decrease with time.
All thebest
