we are leaving for disney in the morning! I'm excited, im gonna eat so much ice cream :D
I hope i get to meet up with 80's chick while i am there.
We will be back on monday, i hope all the flight stuff goes well!

You did fine going to Atlanta...this flight is just a little longer!

I bet your son's gonna eat more ice cream than you!!! Have a BLAST and I hope you and Stephanie get to meet:)

I think I will eat more last time I went I ate one of those mickey heads I love so much and was sick the rest of the day! This time I can eat them without worry! Of geting sick from uc anyway I still.might get a bellyache from 10 a day :-)

I just met summerstorm last night! How cool to finally put a face to a name! Gave her a few tips on Disney and I'm sure she's going to have a great trip!!

I'm off to MN for a few weeks to visit my fam :)

So far the trip is great! It was awesome meeting 80s chick! I have a pic I'll post later. We have been all over and I've been eating ice cream mickeys like nobodys business!

I'm BACK!!! WOO HOO glad to be home! Disney is super fun but not very relaxing, lol.
It was an awesome trip! Went to both waterparks and all four parks, did some shopping and such, ate ALOT of ice cream, well food in general, i think i gained 10lbs!
My little boy had the best time of his entire life, he was so excited when he got his mickey bday cake, with mickey and donald and goofy and minnie and pluto dancing around with him!
A little funny for y'all, a freaking bird pooped on my head! I was sitting at the park with my mom waiting on my kid and husband to get off the astrooribter ride, and this purple stuff got on my leg, and i was like, wth? then felt something on my head! Reached up and pulled whole berries out! EWWWWWW!!!
I will post some pics on fb on friday, Dh took the computer with all the pics to oregon with him!

So glad to hear that you had a great time! Except for the bird..... just can't get away from poop....

Great that you could be in the world with your son having fun instead of in the bathroom. Your story about seeing the crayon on the wall made a big impression on me when I was deciding about surgery.

Hope you get to relax some the next few days.

Welcome back from Disney. Now, maybe you can rest up! Vacations are nice but most of the time I come home exhausted from trying to do/see too much in the amount of time that I have there. Summer, did you have any orange ice cream while there (in FL)? I just love it.

peggy, i dont know what orange icecream is, so i guess i didn't have any!  I had this awesome thing at rainforest cafe, it was called a lava cake, and it was huge looked like a volcano, and had brownie, ice cream and whipped cream, covered in chocolate sauce, OMG it was soooo good!  They gave my son a bday button when we got there and everywhere we went we either got something special or they sang to him or something, and the lava cake was from rainforest cafe.  That place was cool, if you have never been to one, and have one near you, go to it!

And yes it was exhausting, disney is not a vacation!  there is way too much to do!  and way too much laundry to bring home, lol.

we did have one almost bad thing happen on our way back, when we got to the airport in charlotte, my son wanted to go on the moving sidewalks, well my mom and i were already a little way up and told him he could go, so he went back to go on it, but he got on the wrong one! and fell, and it started pulling him back in to where it begins, luckily a man was standing there and yanked him up before it hurt him too bad. I was getting to him as fast as i could, but if that man hadn't gotten him he would have been hurt really badly. He got up and got on the right sidewalk, then when he got to the end, he got in the stroller, and said his hands and legs hurt, he was kind of whimpery, and he is a tough kid, he rarely cries, or even whimpers, he just usually gets up and goes on, so i know it was hurting he was all scraped up, then the poor baby just busted out in tears, he was so scared. but i managed to calm him down, and other than some scraped up knees and hands and the inside of his legs, all is well!
however im never letting him on an esclator (he fell down one of those once, and we rode the whole way down with me holding him up with one arm) or a moving sidewalk again!

sounds like you had a great time! that bday button is really nice thing. i don't know what those moving sidewalks are, but poor kid.. it sounds aweful. glad that man was there just on time.

Besides the bird pooping on your head and Michael falling on the moving sidewalk *so glad he's ok*, it sounds like you all had a GREAT vacation!! That's awesome that you got to meet 80s Chick, too! My sister and her kids LOVE the Rainforest Cafe, plus it's right by the Lego Store, which is her son's favorite place in the whole world. I'm going to Busch Gardens with them next week to ride the roller coasters! yay!

I left a little funny out, we were at epcot and my son had an icecream cone well he ate like three bites then handed it to me. Well about 5 seconds later I sort of just flung it down! I have no idea what happened ice creamjust went all over! We were outside so it wanst that big of a deal but people were laughing like crazy. Now yo would think that would b enough however we were walking about 10 minutes later and I had a coke in a paper cup, thought to myself hope I don't drop this like the ice cream when what should happen? The drink just flies out of my hand! I bustd out laughing and picked the cup up and ran away :-)
