My surgery is tomorrow.

Tomorrow is my dreaded surgery day. I will have a total colectomy, hernia repaired, and have my loop ileo converted into an end ileo.

I did not have to do a bowel prep since I have a temporary ileo. I am so happy that I never have to do another bowel prep again.

I hope my recovery is quicker than last year.

Im ok Tracy. I think it's still pretty much the same, just packing it twice per day with silver alginate. I have an appointment on July 1st. Hopefully they will measure it.

oh gosh Tracy, it's already time???? i wish you best of luck honey!!! and will pray for you!! please keep us posted as soon as you can. taking the colon out and repairing a hernia - that's big surgery and as far as i know, it'll be long recovery, 6 weeks. thinking of you GOOD LUCK!!
