What do you use in your pouch to cover up the odor??

I've been using the Adapt lubricating deodorant in my daughters pouch but it's definitely not doing a good job covering up the odor. I was just wondering what works best for all of you and do you know if it's safe to use on my daughter.

I use M9 by Hhollister and it works pretty well. I have used mouth wash and had do the trick too.

There's lots of other good ideas so somemore suggestions will come your way.

I always use hydrogen peroxide, just a teaspoonful or so. Works great and is safe and cheap! If it's safe to put in your mouth, it's safe for your stoma.

I use 3% hydrogen peroxide too (no stronger than the 3% solution - which can be found in the first aid section of your supermarket). Rather than cover up odours, it totally eliminates it.

Ditto on the hydrogen peroxide, which I learned about from this list. The M9 was the best I'd found before that, but they hydrogen peroxide is cheaper, works better, and it's clear, which is nice (M9 drops are blue, and I seem to manage to spill them more than I should....)

I use OstoFresh. It is fantastic!!! My ostomy nurse recommended it and I have not looked back! :)
I have so many of them ... if you want I can send you a few bottles .... I was going to donate them to the hospital anyway.

You don't need a prescription. Just order them from your supply company where you get your bags.

Ostofresh. It is an antimicrobial which really helps with the odors. Colorless, odorless. Awesome!
