Red Spots on Stoma

Hey guys. I think i read this somewhere on this forum before but i don't remember the answer. I was wondering if anyone has ever had small red dots on their stoma before? I saw my ostomy nurse today and she didnt really seem too concerned about it because she said usually distress to the stoma leads to white spots. I see my surgeon tomorrow so i will ask him as well. I'm kinda paranoid that its my crohns coming back and starting right on my stoma. Is that possible?

Glad it's fine and that you're excited. I think you mean the CRP or the sed rate (ESR)..... they are inflammatory markers that are pretty crude ... they can go up for a lot of reasons if you have inflammation anywhere, but my CRP goes off the charts when I'm flaring.....
