Well my day started off ok, but quickly took a turn for the gross...
I had lunch and it was time to empty so I went in the bathroom to do so. Well stupid me undid my bag at the bottom (I can't sit too well yet so still emptying in a bucket first), still holding it closed reached for some toilet paper and couldn't get it torn off, forgot I had the bag undone and let go... There was poop all over my leg and foot, the garbage can and toilet, the floor obviously, the wall behind me somehow and the bathtub across the room! Who knew that poop could fly all over like that?
Thank goodness for a loving supportive boyfriend who happened to be at home at the time lol. I couldn't get it all cleaned because of my bum wound! I felt so bad but I'm sure we'll both laugh about
it in a while from now. Hopefully...

Ha ha! Its amazing how that stuff can get everywhere! A tip keep some pieces of toilet papr torn off, so you don't have to do it while your bag is
open, its easier that way.

Yes, he's definitely a keeper!
I had something similar happen to me while I was still in the hospital up at CC, though I just dumped it on my feet, flip-flops, and the floor. I wanted to cry! I used the shower head to clean off my feet, but I couldn't bend down to even pick up my shoes let alone clean them up. I am forever grateful to the tech who answered my call light, laughed a bit and reassured me that my hospital stay would not be complete without at least one emptying mishap. She was so gracious about
it all and it made me feel much better. She even cleaned and sanitized my poor flip flops for me!

Eeek I had my first delightful experience of this today, except mine was down to the fact that I simply wasn't concentrating! I was on my lunch break at work, was sat on the loo about
to empty the bag, didn't hold onto the
open end properly and whoooosh the whole lot (completely liquid) went everywhere, all over my underwear, work trousers, shoes and a nice big puddle on the loo floor. I sat there a little traumatised for a minute or two then called my friend who came in to tell me to chill out and helped me clear things up, Another friend then went to the stockroom (I work in a dept store) and got me a pair trousers and some pumps to wear. What a nightmare!

Ron, I also empty that way, not sure if I'll switch when my butt wound finally heals. I got one of those foam pads for gardeners to protect my knee a bit, as it was getting irritated; my rug wasn't thick enough. Works great.

My 48 yr old ones do too! Although it took me a bit to catch on, as that's one area where I'd never had problems before.

I'm actually getting started sitting now finally. My stitches in the rear are starting to dissolve and I feel like I can move a bit. It's a bit awkward but I tried the kneeling and still somehow made a mess... I dunno how I do it but I do.
