Hi, Long time reader-semi poster...
BUT, I'm PROUD to say that I'm having my ileostomy reversed this upcoming Monday!

I think that's a total of 3 reversals on Monday, I man, just from people here. I'm due for reversal in March.

Woohoo! Congrats! I have pre-op Monday and reversal Tuesday. Here's to easy recoveries for all of us.

Good luck bostwis and everyone else having the reversal soon! I'm having mine tomorrow so I'll let y'all know how it goes. So far it's already a lot better than the first surgery. No prep! Just clear liquids today.

congrats all of you. That would be a dream come true. Mine can never be reversed due to my other pelvic colon rectal injuries. But I am so happy for you all. Best wishes. Rosemary

Good luck to everyone as well. Hope you have nice easy recoveries with very little inconvenience.
(Like others with permanent ostomies...there is that feeling and thought of what it might have been like to get the opportunity. Hubby's was not meant to be but as it turns out so far the learning curve has not been bad at all and he is doing very well and except for a sore knee his life and mine have been so great overall since his surgery a year ago.)
