Kyle has his gastric pacemaker and just his phone with him not his computer. But he is OK just in some pain, but that is to be expected.

Pilot Guy is doing very well with his take down. That must be one dream come true. Miracles do happen. I would love a take down but my thing is more of acceptance. BUT my miracle was finding someone that saved me the best that could be done. So we all have our levels of miracles, huh?

Happy for these guys.

Christine went to visit Kyle. That must have been so nice. This really is a great bunch of people. Rosemary

Now we need a miracle for Lizzie. But that may be coming at Rush. We shall see. Let's all pray for her. Rosemary

Thanks Rosemary for the update...meeting Kyle was such a great experience! To finally put a face to the name and stories. He is in some pain but so looking forward to the future and hopefully this will answer his prayers! Meeting him truly touched me, on such a deep, spiritual level.

Pilot Guy....hoping for a speedy recovery and all my best!

Hope Rush is coming up with solutions for Lizzie. Let me know....... I'm going to Rush for testing soon, I need a clearer diagnosis for my dysmotility.

They are going all out at Rush for Lizzie. The best help she has encountered yet. I will check back with her to see what their final plan is. I really am not sure if she wants me posting this. She didn't say not to, but I figured the more prayers the better and if they can get her in a functioning state and out of pain, then I think others need to know about Rush. If I hear and post I will keep it general, but you will get the idea that they are THE place for complex cases. There are such good docs around. The trick is finding them. Rosemary

I got your email today and it was great talking to you again. I hope Dr Raper can do something for you. I will ask tomorrow about his reviewal procedure. I will email you later...hope it goes through.

Hi Ryan, I did type up the whole medical/surgical history for Dr. Raper re: "miracle" take down dream, but I am VERY sure my ileo cannot be taken down due to my pelvic floor issues/scarring and my pronation to form scar tissue from the whole disaster surgery which made the ileo necessary.. BUT, as we discussed, different techniques, different docs, "miracle" medicine, etc. So I put the whole scenario (minus names and places) in 6 pages and it is ready to go! My case so different than yours but I certainly appreciate your contacting him just for a look see at the situation. You are of a real "can do" generation and I like that. Some of us "oldies" can use a shot of that once and awhile, kind of gets the old good feelings back.

I will be awaiting to hear contact address. There are a few on google for him but I will wait to hear from you. Am so happy for you.

Speaking of miracles some guy got a tracheal transplant grown from his own stem cells in Sweden. It was in our newspaper today. The day will come when advancements will be beyond what any of us dream today. So who knows........Thanks, Rosemary

Yes Rosemary you are so right...miracles do come in different forms. I was hoping for the miracle of a j-pouch for hubby but it wasn't meant to be and what he has is his miracle. It is 13 months and he is doing so well overall and really had no issues up to this point in time that I am grateful.

However I am very happy for all of you who have been able to have your reversals or soon to have them. I am sure you are all so very happy and I hope everything goes really well.
