at urgent care

so my people (mom and sister) had some type of Broncitis or something and its my turn :(((( they're going to do a strep throat swab test but they say it makes you GAG im scared .... although i have had worse but im thinking whatever i have shouldnt be to bad besides i came the second day i wasnt felling well my peoplewaited about 4 days silly them ...... i cant get sick like this !!!! my body is fragile.... welll im waiting on the doctor i will come back later to announce my diagnoses!

oh any i only way 134 lb now before surgery i was 157 lb. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is with in 3 months.

Just curious, how many times did you have strep when a kid? I had it too many times to count..always wondered if all the antibiotics contributed to UC.

Jackie, the strep test is nothing. But hopefully it is not strep beccause that is very painful and then you have lots of icky fever and feel very bad. Besides that, you have to take antibiotics for at least a week. That's why I say I hope that if you have anything at all it is bronchitus. I have actually been home in bed with bronchitus since last sunday and it is much easier to deal with than strep (which I had about 4 times as a kid/teenager). Bronchitus means you just take a syrup that helps you cough up the stuff, and then it's gone. I am feeling well enough yesterday to make two short trips out. Let us know how it turns out for you.

Jimmy and Bluegrass, I was a kid who did get strep often but I do not think it figured in my getting UC. UC I understand as a defect in the immune system, and it seems to have a mind and will of its own. What may be the case is that there are certain profiles of people more or less likely to have UC, and childhood strep might figure into the profile because of a bunch of other reasons.

well the doctors said a virus! i think i just need to sit my BUTT down and rest now lol somedays and moments like morning or night i just feel terible i did stop taking vitamins i think to me it was just the concept of NOT taking any medicine...
