Back to the Cayman's - though I am not sure a weekend would be enough and you'd have to take me kicking and screaming. Or, Kauai in the Hawaiian islands.

Back to New Orelans! During Mardi Gras this time, not two days after,lol. That's the most fun place ever! And this time hopefully I won't get cursed by a voodoo lady,lol.

I would go to London, Sardinia, India (Rajisthan/Dharamsala) or Tokyo. I can't wait until my daughter's healthy enough to travel again. We've been on lock down for the past few years. Are you planning a trip?

Norway, Sweden, or Japan. Also Italy.

The first two I actually want to move to when I get a chance. Germany doesn't sound bad either and neither does Australia (except for the stories that involve creepy bugs, spiders, etc). Even though I was born and raised in the south...I hate it with a passion.

i'd have to tell ya NewShinyCD that australia is pretty awesome. im a california girl who moved to the gold coast on australia and i'd have to say the grass is definitely greener! and being that we all have health issues here, the medicare system is fabulous. i get all my ostomy supplies and hospital and medical for free. and dr visits end up being $8 when you get cash back after every visit.

come to australia! LOL but for more than a weekend!

Ah you're on the Queensland side. I've talked to a guy that lives in Western Australia. Somewhere around Perth if I remember correctly but his yard just looks like red dirt and the occasional shrub, lol. What is the economy like in Australia? I mostly work with computer databases and programming right now but I'm thinking about going back to college to get my degree in Chemistry or Biology and then head on to Med School.

If I could go somewhere for a weekend, it would be to Sweden to see my mom who lives there from May through September.

Other places I would love to visit are St. Maarten, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, and of course, Bora Bora, Tahiti! Kazygirl, that's where the Pinterest picture was taken. :-)

He must live up north somewhere then. I'm in Perth, the capital city of Western Australia and we don't get the red dust here, that's more up north (around about 4 - 5 hours from here by road) where it gets a lot hotter with less rainfall. Can't imagine he'd be anywhere around Perth if he deals with the red dust. Sounds more like the top end of Western Australia.

Spsadaisy, take a carnvial cruise, they have wonderful camp carnival! We take our son on cruises, he loves it! Gives him kids to play with and us free vacation time!

The Richard W. Erickson Foundation museum in Utah. My dad's race car from the early 40's is restored and there. I have his last helmet. I just want to sit in it with the helmet on. Actually I plan on going this fall.

After being too anxious to go anywhere in the last 5 years except the occasional trip to Austria to visit my family and I had my temp ileo last year, I was lucky enough to be able to visit India through work (conference near Mumbai) in April and I'm going to Japan on Tuesday ( for 4 days only, but hey I'll have 1/2d in Osaka and 1/2 d in Tokyo free time. And I'm going to ride the bullet train! I'm back on the 18th and on 31st I'll have my proctocolectomy! Got the date this week, so much to do in so little time!
