post op dysmotility after so much time has passed is unlikely. More likely are adhesions problems or something structural causing intermittent obstruction. e.g. bowel loops that can still move somewhat and depending on their
location they can move freely or are incarcerated by adhesions. Sometimes, small bowel loops can get caught in the pelvis etc etc.
In any case, I highly doubt that your issues are functional particularly as your problems came quite out of sudden.
I remember you mentioned that one of the docs mentioned that a small bowe loop was noticeably far down in the pelvis and touchable through the abdominal wall.
it could be something similar to an enterocele http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/enterocele/DS00765
only that it doesnt happen between your small bowel and vagina but with a small bowel loop (or even the colon you still have) and the loops from which the stoma is created.
one last thing: i know all stages of starvation quite a bit, and I doubt that your feeling of decent was from starvation. I would rather think of a vagal or autonomic reaction to something which happened to your bowel.
The body can go without any nutrition for quite a long time, with minimal nutrition (just one toast a day) and severe underweight for a year plus.
So with you current nutritional status I dont think you should be over-concerned. of course thing should be sorted out but i dont see any problems as fara as nutrition and weight goes in the near future.
Sorry, but I have gone through longer times with a far worse general condition being only one step away from death.
And still, I made it that long.
