Hi all,

Just curious...during intimate moments do you usually wear something to cover your pouch, or just let your pouch be "naked"?

I was just thinking about this the other day and wondering what most people do.

I have wondered the exact thing myself. I have had my ileostomy since March 26, 2011.

I wear an ostomy secret wrap. It's not that I am bothered how it looks, it just gets in the way if not secured.

I wear a belly band and tuck it in there. I'm not worried about the look either, but it does get in the way, and I cannot stand to have it touch my leg or hang loose! Just gets on my nerves,lol.

I wear a pouch cover... but I always do, so I just leave it on. I don't like the way the plain nude colored pouches look. I used to wear a wrap during intimate moments, but now I generally don't. It felt too cumbersome to me. I like to be as au naturale as possible ha ha.

I wear one of those 'vixen wrap' things from Ostomy Secrets.. wanted one of their new lace ones which look fab but sold out :-( wish there was another alternative as don't feel a) at all sexy or b) it's a bit too much cover.. although it does have advantage of holding in wobbly belly

I also wear a belt that covers it. Both the look and the fact that it hangs and moves around are bothersome.

I've been married 15 years and don't use anything to cover it up. My hubby is so happy that I'm not sick anymore (there were 7 years when I had Crohn's didn't feel very "sexy") that he could care less about the pouch. He's just thrilled that I'm healthy and feeling "sexy" again!
