You know, I've said this more than once, nurses are a God-send and often times see more than a doctor does, docs think clinically, surgeons think with a scalpel in their hands, nurses seem to think about
all of it - including the patients and what is best for them.
What a very skilled and kind nurse you had that day. Glad she was promoted and not demoted.
Good luck today! If you're worried about
minor drips after takedown, I no longer need these products intended for their purpose (I'm 57 now), but I rely heavily upon these, for traveling, for work, etc.:
Stayfree Ultra Thin Maxi Pads
Overnight type (extra long, with wings at the crotch and in very back, which fans out wide in the seat of your underwear, perfect for minor colon drips or mini-accidents)
Comes in 2 sizes, smallest count is I think 18 pads, in a small, square bag with black and purple on it, I think there's a crescent moon on the front (why I don't know!). Larger package has similar colors. There's also just an XL one if you can't find overnight, that would work well too.
