Had a Total Colectomy ( for CI ) with anastemosis in 2006. I had the usual kinks and stuff. Had a baby in 2008 ( boy was that painful), lots of digestive yuck, but things kept moving.
I started having long periods after the baby, and crippling adhesion pain. Took me 4 years to find a gyno to address it since they all wanted to blame it on the TC. Got my endometrium ablated last month and it stopped the bleeding finally.
However, since then, I have had crippling rectum pain, feels as if things are swollen and extremely painful in there. Also, I am about 90% unable to pass solids. Sometimes the tiniest bit of liquidy stuff will come out, but otherwise, nothing.
I tried enemas to flush things out but passed out cold from the pain of trying to insert the tip of the enema.
I don't know what to do. My husband got laid off and we are without insurance or money for this problem right now.
Do you think there is a correlation between the two things? If not, have you had sudden pain and sensitivity like this?
Any suggestions on how to proceed?
Thanks!
