exactly one year since my surgery

So happy to be in such great health today, exactly one year since my surgery. I cannot believe a year has passed. so much has happened; it has to have been the fastest year of my life, hands down.
One year ago tonight I was sleeping in my room in Step Down, finally. I had gone into surgery at 7:30 a.m. on the dot, and never really did experience any part of the day. I woke up here and there in recovery just because the pain was so bad. I can't even tell you what my recovery nurse or the recovery room I was in even looked like. My surgery was 8 hours, but I remained in recovery for another 3.5 hours because they couldn't get my vitals or pain under control.

It is truly amazing what most of us have been through and have lived to tell about.

Happy anniversary! I celebrate every year. ....I'm so grateful not to be sick anymore!

     Congrats!  It was two years since my permanent ileo on June 28,2010.  Not a day goes by that I don't thank the Lord for giving me this second lease on life.  There is not a doubt in my mind that if I didn't have that operation, I wouldn't be here today.

Happy 1st Anniversary.   I wish you many more happy years together.   I had my 1st anny in July of this year.
