Trendy Top

I just looked it up .... looks like it could work well. It's kind of like the tube tops I bought, but looks better on the outside, at least in the ads. Not expecting the quality to be fabulous for that price.

And definitely try out the handsprings to let us know if it keeps your bag in place

I've been using the Trendy Top for several months following surgery.   It supports my ostomy bag rather well. The only concern I have is whether it is applies too much pressure to the top of the stoma and barrier such that stool cannot easily flow into the bag and force stool back under the barrier, despite wearing a seal.  I've been changing bagging system (barrier, seal, etc.) too often. I just changed it yesterday and I already feel some burning.  My stoma points downward which is not helpful either I am sure.  Feedback welcome.   If I find another way to support bag and lose the Trendy Top, I will try to post here. Thanks!

I also got 2 for $10 at Bed Bath and Beyond--a black and white. I only wear them under maxi dresses or things that I really need to smooth out the area to wear. I usually just wear a tank top under my shirts because that tends to stay in place better. I have wide hips and a small waist so the trendy tops tend to ride up.

Hope4change, have you tried ostomysecrets underwear? They support the pouch and are not too tight. They are expensive though. I can't afford to buy multiple pairs ($25/pair), so I just make my own using hi-cut underwear with bikinis sewn inside in the front.

I use ostomy secrets underwear and I think they are great. They have three packs for $50.00 now. Those aren't as pretty as the $25.00/ pair but they are effective.

I can't wear two pairs of underwear as the inside pair always slides down. Gotta lose that weight!

Also, something similar to trendy top would be a belly band (I think they are 10.00 at target). They are made for pregnant women to hold their pants up while unbuttoned, but they look like they would work similarly to a trendy top and maybe hold up better?

Blimmy, I've got the largest size. Going to try something else and see if that makes a difference -- referring to whether it applies too much pressure so that output is pushed back under the barrier.
