Hey Rob sorry to hear about your issues. I dont know if this helps but there are a few sites that can hook you up with other ostomates in the area and you can always network from there.

Have you tried searching the uoaa to see if there are any support groups in your area?

I hope with time here, it will provide you with some sense of comfort in knowing your not alone. We are the same age, share the same struggles with finding an intimate connection. You've been struggling alot longer and need as much help as you can get!

The above suggestions sound great! Even in building friendships and who can't have enough of those! Brian84 and I have met couple of times! Go from there and see what other doors will open! Don't give up either! Now for me.....when am I ever going to listen to my own advice? OK....if you go to those dating sites, will too! (Gulp)

It can take time finding someone to share your life with. Maybe all this time waiting will mean, when she does comes along, it was worth it. Because YOU need someone special and don't settle for anything less!
