Cannot figure out Coloplast Sensura Click!

I ordered samples of the Sensura Click because so many people raved about them here... and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to click the pouch onto the flange (I'm glad I decided to try before actually sticking the wafer on my body!!). Any tips?? I think the wafer they sent me is actually the Xpro extended wear, if that makes a difference. The rings on the pouch and the wafer are both white.

It's actually the reason I passed on this product the first time I tried it yeah I am glad I tried again, though!!

The pouch clip should be open.

Put the wafer/flange on a flat surface and push the pouch on to the ring.

When you have the pouch on the wafer's ring, run your finger around the connection from the 'outside' part of the pouch (what would be facing out when on your body).

Once you have done that, push the clip together, hearing the 'click'.

Now, the important part, hold the wafer and the little 'tab' that is on the top of the pouch and try to pull apart. If they separate, go through the steps again. When the pouch and wafer are connected properly, they won't separate.

It's like tupperware. Just make sure you have the white part unlocked. above poster describes it well. You will hear a definite "snap" if you have done it correctly.And when done.. don't forget to lock it!!!

But make sure they sent you two parts that match. I believe they use color codes. So make sure the you have a red wafer and a red pouch. I can check for you if you send me the part numbers you have.

They really work great, and we too had to figure out what was going on. Make sure the snap is in the open position, then click the bag on to the flange, then snap the clip closed. Pretty simple once you get used to it.

Thanks for all of the tips! I ended up calling Coloplast and the rep gave me the exact same advice as you all... and after a few more frustrating minutes, we figured out they had sent me pouches that were too small for the baseplates. I didn't realize because the rings were roughly the same size, but apparently the ring on the pouch is supposed to be *larger* than the baseplate's. They're sending me new pouches so hopefully I will be able to try them in a few days :)

That's what I had thought maybe was the problem. You have to be sure the color codes match. red with red, green with green, etc. It is confusing at first until you figure out all the part numbers.
