Hollister New Image?

I've been told by my nurse that I need to change products. Right now I'm using assura but I've been recommended to use Hollister New image. Anyone using this product I would appreacate some feed back about the product and experiences people have had with it. Thank you..

My husband Phil used the Holllister products and we both agreed he should sell them because he and I just thought they were so much better than the Convetec products the hospital sent him home with. They are flesh-colored, have the deodorant feature (not that honestly I ever thought he needed that--I truly never noticed an odor), and most of all they had wafers that did not irritate his already irritated skin. They made the last weeks of his ostomy much nicer.

Phil just had his ostomy reversed on May 31st, and he is healing well, but his time with an ostomy was made better by our trying different products until we finally landed on Hollister, which we felt was the best. I hope it works for you like it did for us. Lisa

I've been using the Hollister New Image products for over two years. Compared to all of the other bags I've tried (and I've sampled most of them!) I've found the New Image to be the BEST! I really like the cloth feel of the opaque bags. And the filter is the best. It lasts the longest and is the most effective. I haven't had any problems with the adhesive or defective bags either.

LOVE THEM LOVE THEM LOVE THEM!!!!
Ive had my ostomy since Nov. 16, and am getting takedown in a day and a half now (VERRRRYYYYYYY nervous!). Now i lost so much weight so fast that i had bumps and dimples and caverns, really, and the one pieces that were clear they sent me home with leaked every hour or so, and the adhesives fell right off me. I tried the New image because my ET nurse was smitten with them and the lock and roll closure. And sure enough, it has been the best i have experienced, and i had tried quite a few after a stoma revision too. So the adhesive works well with me, and im allergic to alot of adhesives including eakin seals. I also am allergic to alot of pastes, so i use Adapt with it, and a flextend barrier for filling in my holes, and i can get 4 days out of them..and with the lock and roll it so easy to drain, and the beige is GREAT! and the bag is cloth on the outside so there isnt any plasticky feel to rustle around or stick to you...fabulous...
