How do you deal with the pouch during, er, intimate moments? Do you wear a wrap, or...? Any specific products? Ostomysecrets has a lacey wrap that I'm considering but I don't want to waste my money if it's not great. I'm not too worried about it leaking or popping off or anything, just want to hide it and keep it out of the way.

I bought that lacey thing but never used it. It is only for use with the small pouch that you can also wear for intimate moments. The larger (regular size) pouch doesn't fit well and is bulky. And, I find that is a pain to change from a full size bag to a tiny one that you then have to change again.

My hubby is not affected by it, so I don't worry too much, but am more comfortable with something covering it. A band is a good choice or if you are wearing a little nighty or something, it can be pulled down (rather than off) and used to cover the pouch.

Mom2Panda is right, don't spend your money. Buy some tight tank tops and pull them down instead of off. Or, I found some bandeau bra things at the Dollar Store. All different colors!!! I spent $10 and got 5 of them. They work well in hiding the bag and keeping it in place. I saw those wrap things too but they are pricey!!!

I got a belly band from the maternity store, it's nude colored so it doesn't show. And it cost like 15 dollars.

I've purchased a couple of the overpriced wraps made specifically for ostomies and was unimpressed. My mom bought me a package of Trendy Tops. You can get a package of two for $10 at drugstores or bix box retailers like Wal-Mart. My only complaint is that the white one is really snug but the black one fits perfectly. I think a maternity band would work well too. I've seen them at Target for $15-$20. You may have to fold the pouch in half length wise, but any of the wraps I've mentioned should work fine.

In my earlier days I used to change to a small pouch...but found that it's too much trouble and a waste of $$$. I don't do anything special now but do have a 'belly band' type item that I could use.

The items that you can find on ostomy clothing sites are really expensive and don't usually do anything special that we cannot find in a regular store or make ourselves for a fraction of the cost.
