I would definitely stick to a "semi-liquid" diet for a few days. My intestines tend to wake up in fits and starts -- they'll start putting out output very quickly after surgery, but then stop functioning for hours at a time, start up again, stop again, etc. I had a very painful experience a full week after my second surgery where I stopped outputting for about 15 hours. To be clear, this was painful because I had eaten a meal after my intestines stopped working, but the intestines stopped working because they are moody and they'll stop and start whenever they feel like it for a while after surgery. So don't fear food TOO much.
You have to explain this "backfire" to me... what is even connected to your anus now?? I don't understand how a blockage or ileus could cause something to come out there.
Semi-liquid: yogurt, runny oatmeal or cream of rice or cream of wheat, applesauce, ice cream, soup, etc. See how that goes for a couple of days and then start introducing soft things that can be cut with the side of your fork like chicken or fish, noodles, potatoes. The most important thing is to watch your bag and if you've stopped outputting DON'T EAT ANYTHING SOLID until your stoma outputs! Eating *after* a blockage has occurred is what can make it so painful.
