Hello,

This is rather a random post but I often read posts and replies on here and am quite often touched by A) the support I have had in people's comments regarding my circumstances and B) touched by others stories.... I would love to start putting faces to names in order, what are others thoughts on this and any suggestions to make it happen? Pictures on here or set up a facebook group we could all join?

I belong to a jpouch group on Facebook and its nice to put faces to names. Anyone can start a group there and it can be made private which is great because I know I don't want friends or family to see any posts I make there.

There's two. One is called J-Pouchers the other is The J-Pouch Group. Both are private.

I just looked at one of them. I want to get into the group, but I don't what it to show on my profile page, or if I write something I don't want my name to show. Is that possible? How can I do that?

I would be happy to add you guys but I would need to send you a friend request on facebook. On jpouch.org you can message me your names via private message which they don't have here on healingwell and I do not post my email in public. Are either of you members on jpouch.org? My user name there is mgmt10. You can private message me with your names and I can look you up on facebook, send you a friend request, then add you to the groups. Once you are on there they are both private so no one you know will see anything you post there. Only the members within the group will see.

Nope, totally private so it won't show up anywhere in your FB info. I just checked mine and a few others I know that are in the group to make sure and nothing shows up.

Hhmmm.... I wonder about a Facebook page anyhow - I don't have a pouch & I like the idea of being able to post/respond on a timeline as opposed to the photobucket.... should I start one?

I logged into photobucket with the above ifo & for some reason it tells me the library is empty? Anyone else have this issue?

OH too funny!!!!
I went back to try again & noticed that I had spelled the username as chronsdisease - crazy that this along with our password was actually a valid account for a person named Linda!!

Obviously - I had UC, not crohns

Summerstorm..... I don't actually know, maybe pretty similar but with shorter hair and maybe blonde with a rounder shape. lol.

All I know is I was pleasantly surprised :-)
