Milk and ostomy question...

I had switched to silk almond milk when I had the UC. But now that I have my colon out, would I be able to drink regular milk again?

As long as you aren't lactose intolerant there shouldn't be any reason you can't have regular milk again. Give a little a try and see how it goes....enjoy!

Dairy would set me off too when I had UC. I'm totally fine with it now. :)

I don't have problems with it anymore either. But it did go through fast, Lol.

No issues for me anymore with dairy either sans colon-- was extremely problematic with my UC. The first two months after surgery I did get lots of gas from everything, dairy included, but once the new plumbing settled down that ended.
