I just got my reversal Friday the 31st, and on March 7th I have a bachelor party. Will I be okay to have a few beers, or is that a huge no no?

You should be fine but expect a few extra trips to the bathroom. Maybe do a trial run before the party so see how your pouch handles it. I don't like beer but wine has little effect on my j pouch.

Great, thanks.
Forgive my ignorance, but what is a J pouch? I had a reconnection of my small intestine to my large, so does that mean I have it as well?

Oh sorry...I don't know why I assumed you had a j pouch. The quick explanation of the procedure is total colectomy and rectum removal, then a portion of the small intestine is brought down and made into a j shape (this acts as the new rectum) and then attached to the anus where the stool passes through.
Edit: I went back and read the beginning of your other post. Now I remember you had the perforation during the colonoscopy. You only had a small amount of colon removed so you should have very little trouble with food or drinks once you are all healed. :)

Wow, I'm reading about
it now on Google. It's amazing what they can do today. Thanks.
And I'll definitely do a trial run on the alcohol early March and see how it goes.

Oh, you should be fine. I also encourage the trial run. Just think, there are people on the internet telling you to drink!

Enjoy your time and you should be fine having a drink. See how you feel and drink enough water before and during!

I think next week I'm going to try to have a few glasses of wine with my parents. Beer is too gassy for now. Does anyone think this would be too soon? (Two weeks post op). I won't be on any medications.

Start with one glass....sit for a bit and see how you feel. If it is going down okay then try another. Baby steps!

Yeah, that's probably what I'll do. I figure it's just another form of grape juice, right??!
My real drink is gin, but I'll start easy. :)
