Does the "bubbling" feel automatically mean leak?

In everyone's experience, does the feeling of "bubbling" automatically mean a leak? I don't know how to explain it any better.

But basically I have my stoma. I will feel on the skin around the stoma a kind of "bubbling tickle." Does this automatically mean that there's a leak somewhere or am I feeling things through the flange? Right now my output is super thick.

I really hope it means I'm feeling things through the flange as I just got this thing changed today!

If I understand what you're describing, I'd say your stoma is "putting out" lol. I sometimes feel a little ticking and I just thought it meant it was working.

Ok. I hope that's what I'm feeling then.

I don't always feel it but for a long time I had very liquidy output. It would make sense that the stoma would have to "work" a bit more to move thicker output.

I get bubbling both with and without leaks--but WITH sounds/feels different.

I get the bubbling feeling too! Sometimes it feels like someone is blowing on my skin - like you would do to an infant's tummy or something! I've not yet experienced a leak, and I find the bubbling is more when my output is more liquidy. I'm glad others feel this too :)

I didn't have any leaks, so it appears that I too get the bubbly feeling with regular output. And yes, it's like a baby getting a strawberry!

Well I would say my ileostoma farts, hahahahaha.... I think it is what we eat, there are certain food that we take that make the funny sound. I don't have the type of food that affect it at this moment, will post it sometimes next week. Happy farting. Hahahahaha.
