I would not rush into that decision, give it at least several more months. It varies by person, but I've read it can take several months or even more for things to get to their new normal. I had my reversal on April 21, and it has been pretty miserable, so I feel your pain. My surgeon did warn me that bowel function would be terrible for a few months. I am trapped at home, for the most part, because I don't dare get more than 20 feet away from my bathroom. I can't tell you how many times I have had to eat dinner while sitting on the dang john....seems like the clustering always starts when I am trying to eat a meal. I used to leave dinner on the counter only to get stuck in the bathroom for an hour, so now I just grab the plate and run and eat when i get there, lol.
Have you tried anything to slow things down?
