I had ileostomy surgery last august recently I have strong feelings that I have to use the bathroom and
is very uncomfortable is this usual and how long does it go on for

I felt like that, but shortly after surgery. I believe they call it "phantom rectum". You say you had surgery last August? That is almost a year. Hmmm....don't know why you are having that feeling now.

Yup, I had it too, but mainly in the first month or so. Not so much now, maybe once a day. And always in my worst UC accident times- the mornings, right after I leave work & am walking to my car...

Can anyone tell me how much peroxide and what strength to put in the night bag to eliminated odours?
